California Wildlife Center – 818-222-2658; www.californiawildlifecenter.org
They rescue, rehabilitate, and release injured or orphaned wildlife. The hospital (818-591-9453) is located in Calabasas, open 7 days a week, and services all wildlife, including emergency marine mammal response. Website’s "Wild Animal Rescue Info" icon provides helpful information on dealing with injured wildlife.

Marine Mammal Care Center - www.marinemammalcare.org
Located in San Pedro, they are a hospital for sick and injured marine mammals stranded along the L.A. County coastline.  They typically treat and release various sea lions and seals.

South Bay Wildlife Rehab – 310-378-9921; sbwr.org
Located in Rancho Palos Verdes, they rehabilitate sick, injured and orphaned native birds and small mammals and return to the wild. Specialize in birds of prey. Wildlife education is also available.

Wildlife Waystation – 818-899-5201; wildlifewaystation.org
Located in Angeles National Forest, this organization rescues and provides sanctuary to native and exotic wildlife.

Wildlife Care of Ventura County – 805-498-2794; wildlifecareofventura.org
Will assist injured animals in Los Angeles, Orange and Ventura Counties. They specialize in corvids, coyotes, bobcats and raccoons.  Their website provides a lot of useful information and advice on dealing with wildlife "nuisance problems."

STAR ECO Station – 310-842-8060; ecostation.org
Primarily an environmental educational center located in Culver City housing rescued exotic wildlife. Offers educational tours, field trips and birthday parties.

Hummingbird Rescue – 818-881-0053

Ojai Raptor Center – 805-667-4546 or 805-649-6884; ojairaptorcenter.org
They are dedicated to the rehabilitation and release of birds of prey in Ventura County
